Carrots with Garlic Yogurt Sauce


  • ½ kg carrots
  • 3 large onions
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • salt, red pepper flakes


  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 5 tablespoons plain yogurt
  • salt, red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil


  1. Sliced carrots are steamed or boiled in plenty of water.
  2. Sliced onion into half rings is caramelized with olive oil in the pan.
  3. Boiled or steamed carrot are added on caramelized onions and stir them approximately 1 minute.
  4. After adding salt and pepper, get the pan from the stove.


  1. Add grated garlic and salt then mix up.
  2. Heat the olive oil and add red pepper flakes.
  3. When the carrots are cooling down, pour the yogurt sauce and sprinkle peppered olive oil on them.
