Ingredients

  • 6 red peppers
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon hot pepper paste
  • 1.5 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1.5 teaspoon cumin
  • 2 cups walnuts
  • 4 slices of stale bread
  • ¾ small cup olive oil
  • 3-4 tablespoons pomegranate molasses
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Roast the peppers in the oven or on the stove.
  2. Peel and clean the seeds.
  3. Get the peppers into the blender or food processor.
  4. Add the rest of the ingredients to the peppers.
  5. Run the blender or food processor.
  6. Blend until all ingredients is pureed.
  7. Serve on a plate after sprinkle olive oil on muhammara with bread slices.
